Banter
a lucid Encounter
occurs
and the pace that we grow
or recede from the trying
the vying for winnership
such an old-dull-headed
can't we all see now
it's empty,
a ruse,
a hypnosis?
and lingering doubts
come as shouts
from our insides
as crisis befalls
we can't say
we weren't warned.
